Gem BU 2 X Wrong Planchet – India One Rupee struck on 25 paisa planchet - dated 1999 One Rupee struck on 50 paisa planchet - dated 1999 Stainless STEEL metal composition (see both coin and obverse and reverse of each below) --------------------------------------------------- An outstanding pair wrong planchet errors from India. Two smaller planchets, 25 paisa and 50 paisa, mistakenly entered the larger striking chamber meant for One Rupee sized coins/planchets. Both error coins are smaller, wrong sized planchets and were struck by the One Rupee dies.
