It played a significant role in the TEXTILE INDUSTRY producing high-speed spindles and looms for the Manufacture of High-Quality Fabrics. For more than 150 years it was a mainstay of Mill-Towns in the Northeast, when it came under the control of ROCKWELL INTERNATIONAL. It features the Company's logo flanked by Two Heroic Allegorical Figures: The one on the Left is depicted with the tools of the Scientist - a Microscope and an Alembic or Retort The figure on the right is a Metalworker representing - VULCAN: Blacksmith of the Ancient Gods - Science and Technology are combined in a Striking Portrayal of this Industry! This Certificate would PAIR UP excellently with that from the FOXBORO COMPANY and ROCKWELL MANUFACTURING also available here!
